Marist Volleyball To Wrap Up Home Slate This Weekend
The Marist (15-10, 9-5 MAAC) volleyball team wraps up the home portion of its 2009 season this weekend, hosting Niagara (19-7, 12-3 MAAC) on Saturday and Canisius (11-15, 8-7 MAAC) on Sunday at the McCann Center. Both matches will have 2 p.m. first-serves. Seniors Dawn Jan, Lindsey O'Dell, and Alexandra Schultze will be honored prior to Sunday's match for Senior Day. more

Four Marist Volleyball Players Named To ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District Teams
The Marist volleyball team had four players chosen to ESPN The Magazine/College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Teams, as announced on Thursday. The totals of two first-teamers and four all-district selections are both tied for the most of any Division I school in the country. Junior middle blocker Allie Burke (Alpharetta, Ga.) and senior outside hitter Alexandra Schultze (Austin, Texas) were First Team selections, while Joanna Foss (Northville, Mich.) and Dawn Jan (Belleville, N.J.) were Second Team selections. more
