Sheehan Runs 18:33 In 5K At USA Junior Nationals

Marist rising sophomore Kathryn Sheehan (Wading River, N.Y.) turned in a time of 18:33.79 in the 5,000 meters at the USA Track and Field Junior Championships late Saturday, held at historic Hayward Field at the University of Oregon. Sheehan's time placed her 12th in the race. more
Brittany Burns and Max Carow Named ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District

Brittany Burns (Watertown, N.Y.) and Max Carow (Fanwood, N.J.) of the Marist track and field teams were named ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District selections for track and field and cross country on Thursday. Burns and Carow are two of only five athletes from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference to earn this award for track and field. By being named First Team All-District, both athletes are eligible for ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honors. more
