Red Foxes Fall To Canisius In MAAC Championship
The Marist softball team fell 8-0 to Canisius in the 2008 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship at Alumni Softball Field on the campus of Fairfield University. Michelle Fridey delivered a two-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the first inning, and the Golden Griffins never looked back. It is their second straight MAAC Championship. more

Today's MAAC Championship Round To Be Played At Fairfield University
Today's Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament Championship Round between Marist and Canisius will be played at Alumni Field on the campus of Fairfield University. Tournament play began on Thursday at DeLuca Field in Stratford, Conn., but after heavy rain postponed all of Friday's action, the tournament was moved to Fairfield on Saturday, and will remain there today. more
