Giorgis And Fitz Honored By Met Basketball Writers
Marist head women's basketball coach Brian Giorgis and sophomore forward Rachele Fitz (Seven Hills, Ohio) were given honors by the Met Basketball Writers Association on Tuesday. Giorgis was named a co-winner of the Maggie Dixon Coach of the Year award with C. Vivian Stringer of Rutgers, and Fitz was named to the All-Met First Team. more

Marist Women's Basketball Team Closes Season Ranked 23rd In ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll
The Marist women's basketball team was ranked 23rd in the final ESPN/USA Today Women's College Basketball Poll, released on Wednesday. This marks the second consecutive year the Red Foxes end the season ranked in the Coaches' Poll. Marist finished the season 32-3, won their third consecutive Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament, and won an NCAA Tournament game for the second consecutive year. more
