POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Select members of the Marist men's track team competed at the Matthew Vassar Open on Friday, held at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie. Freshman Ryan Brown (Monroe Township, N.J.) set a personal best in the 5K as he posted a time of 16:07.34.

A pair of Red Foxes also competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Junior Greg Masto (Schenectady, N.Y.) finished second in a time of 10:28.55, and senior captain Kris Geist (East Berne, N.Y.) placed third in a time of 10:39.86.

The Red Foxes will compete in the MAAC Championships on Saturday and Sunday at Rider University.
