NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. - The Marist men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss on Sunday at Niagara in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) contest. With the loss, the Red Foxes now stand at 7-8-2 overall and 3-4-1 in the conference. Marist has one match remaining in regular season play.

Niagara scored the lone goal in the 39th minute as Stephen Kauble poked the ball to the far post, beyond the reach of Marist goalkeeper Joe Pilla (Watertown, Conn.). That goal would hold up as the game-winner. Pilla made three saves in the match for the Red Foxes.

As a team, Marist took nine shots, paced by four from sophomore Krystian Witkowski (Rochester, N.Y.). He put two of his four attempts on goal.

The Red Foxes will wrap up regular season play on Friday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m., as they host the Siena Saints on Senior Day in a MAAC contest.
