James Simpson Hometown: Kings Park, N.Y. Position: Head Coach Experience: 3rd Season Alma Mater: Salisbury University

James Simpson is in his third season as Head Coach of the Marist men's lacrosse team and Director of Intramurals. Simpson came to Marist with a wealth of experience as a player at St. Anthony's High School on Long Island and Salisbury University in Maryland.

Simpson saw success on the national stage, as he was a member of the 2003 and 2004 Salisbury teams that won Division III National Championships. He was named a captain on the 2004 team.

Upon graduation from Salisbury in 2004, Simpson was named a volunteer assistant coach at Salisbury for the 2005 campaign. With the experience he brought from his playing days Simpson was able to help the Seagulls to a third straight national title in 2005.

A native of Kings Park, N.Y., Simpson currently resides in Poughkeepsie.
