EDISON, N.J. - Red-shirt senior forward Ryan Stilphen (Bay Village, Ohio) was named Third Team All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, and freshman guard Jay Gavin (Seat Pleasant, Md.) was named to the conference's All-Rookie Team, it was announced Monday. Gavin is now eligible for the conference's Rookie of the Year award, which will be announced on Thursday.

Stilphen averaged 8.7 points and 5.1 rebounds in the regular season while shooting .529 from the field. He is 16th place on Marist's all-time scoring list with 1,140 career points. He also ranks fifth and eighth, respectively, on Marist's all-time rebounding and field-goal percentage lists.

Gavin was second on the Red Foxes in scoring during the regular season with 12.1 points per game. He hit a team-high 67 three-pointers, shooting .394 from beyond the arc. He was named MAAC Rookie of the Week five times this season.

Marist concluded the regular season with a record of 17-13 overall and 11-7 in conference play. The Red Foxes are the sixth seed in the MAAC Tournament, and will face third-seeded Niagara in a quarterfinal game on Saturday at 10 p.m. The game will be televised on MSG.
