Northeastern Scores Comeback Victory Over Marist

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.-The Northeastern baseball team registered one run in the seventh, eighth and ninth frames to hand Marist its fifth straight defeat by a score of 6-4 Monday afternoon at the McCann Baseball Field. Northeastern improved to 21-13 overall, while Marist dropped to 11-26. Northeastern reliever Ryan Quigley (1-0) picked up the win, tossing three shutout innings with two walks and three strikeouts. Marist junior left hander Tom Close (1-4, The Huskies were led offensively by shortstop Mike Lyon, who had three hits, while left fielder Mike Tamasin had a pair of hits with three RBIs.
