Dennis Healy Departs Marist; Becomes Pitching Coach At Wake Forest

Marist head baseball coach Dennis Healy has announced his resignation after four seasons to become pitching coach/recruiting coordinator at Wake Forest, effective immediately. Healy compiled a record of 95-116 in his four seasons, including a 53-46 record in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play and a berth in the 2009 NCAA Tournament. more

2009 Marist graduate Jacob Wiley (Cape Vincent, N.Y.) was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 41st round with the 1,229th overall pick of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Thursday. Wiley was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's Tournament Most Valuable Player and Relief Pitcher of the Year this season. more
