Art Boyko Last College: SUNY Cortland 1988 Position: Assistant Coach Experience: Third Year

Art Boyko begins his third season with the Marist Women's Water Polo coaching staff as the assistant coach. He comes to Marist with over five years of involvement in the game of water polo and a strong swimming background. Boyko brings playing experience, knowledge of the game and a new perspective to the team.

Boyko graduated from SUNY Cortland in 1988 where he studied sociology and criminology. As an undergraduate, Boyko was a member of the Cortland varsity swimming program. He also played water polo for the Empire State Games Adirondak Division.

Boyko is currently a Lieutenant with the New York State Police and is enrolled as a graduate student at Marist College, where he is studying to receive his Masters in Public Administration. Boyko's new perspective and love of the sport will prove to be the extra component that will help lead the program to a successful season.

Boyko currently resides in Poughkeepsie, NY with his wife Martha and their children, Emily, Abagail and Jason.
