Basketball On Wednesday afternoon, Marist men's basketball head coach Chuck Martin welcomed a special guest to the McCann Center during his first week of camp: former NBA guard and current Kentucky assistant coach Rod Strickland. Strickland spoke to the campers about his career in the NBA as part of a question and answer session, as well as leading a demonstration about the pick and roll. more Marist To Host North Carolina A&T In Preseason WNIT On November 136/30/2009 | W. Basketball The Marist women's basketball team will host North Carolina A&T at the McCann Center in the 2009 Preseason Women's National Invitation Tournament as announced on Tuesday. The game will be played on Friday, November 13th with a 7:30 p.m. tipoff. The Red Foxes are coming off a 29-4 season in 2008-09, their sixth straight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular season championship, and fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. more
